Sue Ryder Back to Clients

Sue Ryder provides specialist palliative care and treatment at home, or in the hospice, for people and their families who are suffering from serious illnesses. They have 13 care centres across the UK, providing compassionate care and support for people with long-term and end of life needs.

Mannorlands Hospice is based in the West Yorkshire village of Oxenhope and provides a range of specialist palliative care services.

The project I worked on at Mannorlands involved facilitating a number of multidisciplinary action learning sets and providing one to one reflective space for the senior management team.

The action learning sets ran for 12 months resulting in improved communication between departments, increased ownership of solutions and improved staff morale.

I am still providing reflective space / supervision for members of the leadership team who find this time out to think extremely beneficial.
